I couldn't think of a card design that I liked (okay, maybe I was too lazy to look for blank cards) so I did a oil pastel for my mother on watercolor paper instead.

And once you get out the oil pastels it's hard to stop! I did a monkey as well. I modeled it after a sock monkey I have. Reminds me of Paul Gauguin's paintings because of the color contrast. If you don't know who that is, look him up! |

This isn't really my art, it's my friend's. She did my hair for a dance I went to, but it is like art... you take damp hair and twist it from the front then bobby pin it into random swirls. My hair stood 3 inches off my head when I took it out! |
