Heart in oil pastel... does it freak you out? Well, all the veins going up are consolidating into the root system of a plant...

Painting the Living Room

My mom decided she wanted the living room painted, so I took on the job. I did the first coat and my mom did most of the second. We are still not finished, but we're getting there! Before, it was a taupe brown color, and now ( as you can see) it is teal. 

I can never paint a room without painting a picture on the wall.

These are my paint jeans. I paint allot, as you can see. But most of the paint is intentional...

Mutant Squid

This is one I am working on right now. It is a squid with hands, but you probably already knew that... I still need to shade it and add a background.

I am very pleased with this hand. Still needs shading though. 

Ok, so I have allot of old stuff. Don't worry, there will be new stuff soon! These are oil pastel, one of my favorite mediums.

This is my childhood stuffed animal, Black Puppy. He was a good model. Didn't move much... :)

This is actually magazine clippings I pasted together. Its called 'Metamorphosis'. Sorry about the glare, I couldn't get a picture without it. 

My Past Paintings

These are some of the paintings I have done.  

Me spreading 2 cans of paint on a canvas. The paint was bad, so I had no other use for it. 

I made this one for my Uncle Mike. Its a bridge in Easton, PA. Technically, its green, but... artistic liberties!!

A Chibi penguin for my cousin John. 

I painted this one for my mother using a Lowes catalogue for inspiration. She saw it in the catalogue and wanted one for her house. Guess it pays to have a painter for a daughter...

Ok, so I painted all these landscapes at age 12. They are kinda old, but I wanted to put them on here anyway. This is a river in PA. The picnic bench is actually in the water, so that is not a mistake.

Too much time on my hands... I drew a circle, plotted dots around it, then connected every dot to every other dot. There are 496 lines!
